2. Baby you don't have to wait up.

I remember when I was in architecture and I was up late (sometimes all night) struggling to finish (or more like start) my design. 

Every one hour or so, he would call. And it would cheer me up when he did cause he believes that I'm capable of doing anything. Or it would end with me scolding him for bothering him from my work. :/

Some nights, I sleep a bit earlier. Around 2 a.m. maybe, and we wished each other good night. Some nights went on till dawn, and he would call earlier to say that he's sorry but he's really sleepy and wished me good night.

I don't know why but it took awhile for me to notice that he would wait up for me. And when I finally did, I told him that it wasn't necessary and that while I was in archi, this is pretty much routine.

Today, my friends took me out to town. We didn't stay till so late and I called him as soon as I got home. Then he said  that's he's sorry but he's really sleepy and he was just waiting for me to come home. 

Baby, you don't have to wait up... but it's nice to know you care :)

Takdela, haritu my friend was saying that using "my best friend" or something kinda alienates other people. Particularly people yang you baru meet but are quite close but not sure whether it's too early or too awkward to declare them your best friend. Faham tak?
